Ricardo Augusto Mazza got his Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering from
UNESP in 1992. His Master and Doctoral Degrees were from UNICAMP during the years 1994
and 2002. He was a faculty member of UTFPR during the years 2000 to 2003 and of UFPR
until 2006. Since August of 2006 he is a faculty member from the Mechanical Engineering
Department from UNICAMP. He employs numerical and mathematical
models to study two-phase slug flow. Other areas of interest are: turbulent flows with
rotation effects and heat and mass transport in draying woods in kilns.
